Learners of all ages can still gain qualifications if they really want to and we at the Leeds Maths Tutor are here to provide support for everyone. A key part of what we do recently has been improving adult numeracy skills with the help of functional skills maths level 2 support. The government is also playing their part in the form of a new programme called the Multiply scheme which primarily aims to assist adult learners improve in maths.

It can be quite the struggle finding effective resources to support your learning, but through the Multiply scheme you will gain access to many different materials and DBS checked tutors. One of the roles we have is providing extra 1-2-1 support through very experienced maths tutors. An important thing to keep in mind is that the website offers the resources but it doesn’t give you the opportunity to take the exams to earn the qualifications. To do this and receive a certificate, you will need to find a registered exam centre which could be a nearby college. The alternative is that you can sit the exam from home and work it around your schedule. This tends to be the best option for many as a lot of people have busy schedules doing other things. You must not have a GCSE grade C/Level 4 to qualify for this scheme, amongst other things. Another thing to keep in mind is that this is being developed to cater to specific fields in specific industries. This is so learners can improve their skills in the perspective of their choice. The different contextualised questions, video explanations and practice questions are made to be relatable which makes it a better experience.

Qualifications can improve your job opportunities and take you to the next level in your career. We understand the importance of this and are here to offer the best help possible. For functional skills maths level 2 support and more, contact Leeds Maths Tutor as soon as you can.
